Fry Bread House brings some legit heat with their Green Chile Beef Taco and Chippies and Salsa! This was the first place I've eaten at in Phoenix that had me slapping the table from the spice level of the food. I usually order green chili items at other places and have no problem but I did not notice the hand written heat chart near the cash register.

Even with the food being super spicy, I loved it. The fry bread is A+ and I am excited to come back here to try the different variations of it.

Some far I've tried the Green Chili Beef Taco and the Combo Taco with Ground Beef entrees and the Chocolate Fry Bread Sweet. I enjoyed all of them and I am excited to go back to try the Cheese Crisp and a burrito!

Quaint place with rustic southwestern decor.

    Order at the counter.

    Friendly staff. Fast service

Had the green chili fry bread taco:

Oh my gosh it's so delicious.

Taco is a soft, fluffy/puffy, airy bread made with flour and fried in oil or lard.

Filled with savory shredded beef in a green chili sauce

Topped with shredded cheddar cheese and iceberg lettuce

I also added whatever green sauce they provided on the table to add a little kick of heat

I have to come back and try more items on the menu but this far this place is muy bueno!

Fry bread is difficult to explain. It's like a flour tortilla and corn tortilla had a baby, but the flour tortilla also had an affair with naan bread and pan fino. So you don't know who the real parents are, but the result is amazing.

Fry bread goes with everything. Dessert? Yup. Tacos. Yup. Plain bread. Yup. And what's awesome is that this place knows how to make every single concoction extremely tasty. You can eat it like a burrito, a taco, use it to pick up food like naan, eat it like it's sopapilla's cuter and younger cousin.

You know what you shouldn't do? Not eat it. This restaurant has come up with dozens of ways to eat fry bread. The entrees have Mexican and Native influences, so everything is basically tasty and perfection. My husband kept telling me not to eat it all, but I didn't care! The portions were large and this restaurant does not exist in Houston (and possibly any decent fry bread) so I gorged on all things frybread.

I had the red chili beef taco followed with a cinnamon and sugar sweet frybread. Like seriously, I can eat this stuff all day. Don't you dare say the word keto near me, when I'm eating this delicious source of nutrients.

The staff was kind, the place clean, and the prices good. Everyone there was happy eating away to their heart's content. If you're some type of monster that doesn't like fry bread there are options for you. And possibly wifi, cause friend, I wouldn't be taking you home with that kinda sacrilegious talk.

It's just an awesome non-pretentious place and having a foodie husband, it's nice to visit amazingly tasty non-pretentious restaurants with great service, quality, and value. Definitely a must. I would eat here 24/7 if I could. But alas, you are in AZ. This Texan gal will miss you.

For starters I walk up to order from the gal at the counter and am greeted with a huge smile followed by "I'm Raider Nation too!"  You can just feel the home cooked vibe when you walk in which is enhanced by the amazing aroma of Navajo dry bread and all of the smiles from the friendly staff. After a lackluster meal somewhere else we came here for redemption and boy did we get it. The spicy green chili shredded beef fry bread taco was "Gone in 60 Seconds!"  A M A Z I N G ! . I believe I need to open a second location for them in Sacramento, CA!

Let me preface this by saying I normally am ambivalent to fry bread. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. Went here intending on just having a small bite but ended up ordering an ultimate shredded beef taco and chips and salsa.

The chips and salsa were really good and the portion was surprisingly large, but the taco was absolutely amazing. It's big enough that if you can finish it, you might slip into a food coma at the table and it was fantastic. I also tried a beef tamale and it was equally good. Check this place out and bring your appetite, maybe your neighbor's appetite too.
